Email to Mobile Ad ID (MAID)

Resolve an email address to mobile advertising IDs - AAIDs and IDFAs - for device-level targeting in programmatic and mobile ad platforms.
  • Convert these emails into mobile ad IDs for programmatic targeting
  • Get MAIDs for this list of email addresses

What this skill does

Takes a plaintext email address and returns the Mobile Advertising IDs linked to it using email_to_maid - AAIDs (Android) and IDFAs (Apple). MAIDs let ad platforms target specific mobile devices, which makes them the highest-precision identifier for programmatic and in-app campaigns.

Use this when you have emails and need device-level reach - DSP audience uploads, mobile retargeting, or data clean room matching.

Inputs

  • Email - single plaintext address or a list (processed one call per email); hashed emails (HEMs) are not a valid input

When it activates

  • "get the MAID for [email]"
  • "resolve these emails to device IDs"
  • "build a MAID list for my DSP"
  • "find mobile ad IDs for this audience"

Output

Email MAID(s) Type (AAID / IDFA)
Emails processed: X
MAIDs found: X (XX%)
Credits used: ~XXX

Tips

  • Multiple MAIDs per email is normal - people have multiple devices; all are returned with type noted
  • Expected match rates ~30–60% - not-found results are free
  • Personal emails resolve to MAIDs more often than business emails - this skill needs a plaintext email, so resolve a personal email first if you only have hashes or business addresses
  • Starting from LinkedIn? Resolve a personal email first (LinkedIn to Personal Email), then run this skill on it
