What this skill does

Resolves an IP address to the company behind it using ip_to_company. Returns company name, domain, industry, and employee count. Works for a single IP or a batch from web server logs.

Credits only charged on hits. Not identified results are free.

When it activates

  • "who visited my site from this IP"
  • "identify this IP"
  • "what company is [IP]"
  • "deanonymise this visitor"
  • "which company is behind this IP"

Tips

  • Private IPs (10.x, 192.168.x, 172.16–31.x, 127.x) are skipped automatically
  • IPv6 is supported
  • ISP or residential IPs are flagged rather than returned as a company match
  • After results, offers to find contacts at any of the identified companies via Company Employee Scout
