company team lookup

See who works at any company

Company team lookup takes a company’s domain and returns the people who work there — names, job titles, seniority, LinkedIn profiles and verified business emails. Narrow it to one team by title, department, seniority or location. MoltSets runs it in a single API or MCP call, and charges nothing when no one matches.

what it returns

What the company team lookup API returns

A team lookup searches the MoltSets contact database for people at the company you name, and returns them ranked by how well they match — with title, seniority, location, LinkedIn profile and a graded business email for each.

It is one search_people call over the API or the MCP, so an agent can map an account’s buying committee, or every account in a list, without a human in the loop.

who it’s for

Who uses company team lookup?

01 / Account executives

Map the buying committee at a target account before the first call, not after the third.

02 / SDRs

Turn a named-account list into people to contact, filtered to the roles you actually sell to.

03 / ABM teams

Build multi-threaded contact lists across every account in a campaign in one pass.

04 / Recruiters

See who holds which role at a company, and how a team is put together, before you reach out.

05 / Partnerships

Find the right counterpart at a prospective partner, by department and seniority.

06 / AI agents

Let an agent in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor research an account end to end over the MCP.

how it works

One domain in, the whole team out.

  1. 01 /

    Name the company

Pass a company_domain (or up to 100 of them), or a company name when you don’t have the domain. Full URLs are normalised for you.

  2. 02 /

Narrow to the team you want

Add title, seniority, department or a location. Each list is OR within the field and AND across fields, and exclude_* filters drop what you don’t want.

  3. 03 /

    Get ranked people back

Up to 25 profiles per page, best match first, each with title, seniority, location, LinkedIn and a business email graded A–F. Page through with offset.

  • Full name, first and last
  • Job title, headline and seniority
  • Functional area — e.g. Sales, Engineering
  • City, state and country
  • LinkedIn profile URL
  • Business email, with an A–F risk score and last-validated date
  • When they started in their current role

precision

Getting the right team back

Every filter is exact, so which one you reach for matters more than how many you stack.

01 / Search roles with title

title matches the job title alone, so “Account Executive” never returns Account Managers. Combine it with seniority: title: "Sales" plus seniority: "VP".

02 / Use the domain, not the name

company_domain pins the search to one company exactly. company matches on name words, so “Acme” also matches “Acme Corporation”.

03 / Mind the sparse filters

title is on about 85% of profiles and seniority and department on about 60%. Stack too many sparse filters and you lose real matches.

04 / Count before you pull

Run the search with limit: 1 and read total to see how big the team is for the cost of one record, then page through the rest.

pricing

What it costs

Company team lookup is included on every plan — there is no per-endpoint pricing. Each profile returned counts as one search record against your plan’s limits, and a search that finds nobody costs nothing. Full detail on the pricing page.

Questions & answers about company team lookup

Frequently asked questions about finding the people at a company.

A company team lookup returns the people who work at a given company, so you can see who holds which role. MoltSets does it with the search_people endpoint: pass the company’s domain, optionally narrow by title, seniority, department or location, and get back ranked profiles with job titles, LinkedIn URLs and business emails.

Pass the company in company_domain and the team in department, for example department: "Engineering". Add seniority to keep only leaders, such as ["Director", "VP", "Head"]. Department and seniority are on about 60% of profiles, so for a fuller list use title as well or instead.

Yes. company_domain takes a list of up to 100 domains in one search, and the results are ranked together. To keep companies you already work with out of the results, list them in exclude_company_domain; excluded records cost nothing.

Name, job title, headline, seniority, functional area, city, state and country, LinkedIn URL, business email with its A–F risk score and last-validated date, the date they started their current role, and a company object with name, domain, size, industry, NAICS codes and LinkedIn page. Each result also carries a _score: higher means a stronger match.

Each page returns up to 25 profiles, and you page through with offset. The response includes total, the number of matching people, capped at 10,000. To size a team cheaply, run the search with limit: 1 and read total.

Searches spend search records: one per profile returned, against your plan’s Fair Use limits. A search that finds nobody returns status: "not_found" and costs nothing, though it still counts as one request. There is no per-endpoint pricing; see the pricing page for plan limits.

Every business email carries a risk score from A to F and the date of the latest evidence that it works. A means validated deliverable, B means known engagement with no bounce, C is a catch-all server, D is a known bad address you should never send to, and F means no signal either way. See email risk scores.

Not from the search itself. Take the LinkedIn URLs it returns and pass them to linkedin_to_mobile_phone for carrier-verified mobiles, or linkedin_to_best_email for the best available email. Both take batches of up to 100 URLs.

Yes. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client to the MoltSets MCP server and ask in plain English, for example “find the marketing leadership at acme.com”. The agent picks the filters and runs search_people for you.
