data enrichment api

The data enrichment API for leads and companies

A data enrichment API takes what you already know about a lead or a company — a LinkedIn URL, an email, a name, a company or an IP — and fills in the rest: verified business and personal emails, carrier-verified mobiles, job titles and company firmographics. MoltSets gives you every lookup over one API or MCP connection, and charges nothing when there is no match.

the endpoints

Every enrichment, by what you start with

Each lookup is its own endpoint, so you call exactly the one you need and pay only for what comes back. Over the MCP, an agent picks the right one for you.

01 / From a LinkedIn URL

02 / From an email address

03 / From a name and company

04 / From a company or an IP

who it’s for

Who uses data enrichment?

01 / Sales teams

Fill the email and mobile gaps on every lead before it reaches a rep.

02 / Marketing ops

Enrich inbound form fills and signups with title, company and firmographics as they arrive.

03 / RevOps

Backfill missing fields across the CRM and keep job changes from going stale.

04 / Growth teams

Turn LinkedIn lists, event badges and community members into contactable leads.

05 / Ad teams

Build hashed-email and MAID audiences from the contacts you already have.

06 / AI agents

Give an agent in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor every enrichment tool over one MCP connection.

how it works

What you have in, what you need out.

  1. 01 /

    Start from what you have

A LinkedIn URL, an email address, a name and company, a domain or an IP. Most endpoints take a batch of up to 100 at once.

  2. 02 /

    Call the matching endpoint

One POST per lookup over the REST API, or let an agent pick the tool over the MCP. Chain them: search for people, then enrich each with an email and mobile.

  3. 03 /

    Pay only for matches

Hits come back with status: "ok". Misses come back as status: "not_found" and cost nothing, so you can try the cheapest path first.

data quality

How you know what to trust

No headline match-rate claim — every record tells you how recently it was confirmed instead.

01 / Every email graded

Each email carries a risk score: A is validated deliverable, B is known engagement, C is a catch-all server, D is known bad and F is no signal. Suppress D, warm up C and F.

02 / Dated evidence

Every email comes with the date of the latest evidence that it works, so you can weigh a recent validation over an old one.

03 / Mobiles re-checked

Mobile numbers are re-validated by a separate phone check. Invalid numbers are never returned, and landlines are excluded.

04 / Profiles kept current

Dead and inactive LinkedIn profiles are filtered out, and job changes are reprocessed on a rolling basis so titles and employers stay current.

pricing

What it costs

Every enrichment endpoint is included on every plan — there is no per-endpoint pricing. Enrichment only charges when data is found, so a miss costs nothing on any plan. Mobile numbers use phone tokens, a monthly add-on on paid plans. Full detail on the pricing page.

Questions & answers about the data enrichment API

Frequently asked questions about lead and company enrichment.

A data enrichment API takes a piece of data you already have, such as an email address, a LinkedIn URL, a name or an IP, and adds what you’re missing: verified emails, mobile numbers, job titles, company details and more. MoltSets provides every lookup as its own endpoint over REST, and as tools for AI agents over the MCP.

Contact enrichment adds the ways to reach a person: their email and mobile. Lead enrichment goes further for inbound or prospect leads, adding title, seniority and company firmographics so you can qualify and route them. MoltSets does both with the same endpoints.

Start from the data you have. From a LinkedIn URL, linkedin_to_best_email is the sensible default for an email, and reverse_linkedin_lookup returns the full profile. From an email, use reverse_email_lookup. From a name and company, use search_business_email_by_name. From a website visitor’s IP, use ip_to_company.

Enrichment endpoints only charge when data is found, against your plan’s Fair Use limits. A miss returns status: "not_found" and costs no tokens, though it still counts as one request. Mobile numbers spend phone tokens from a monthly add-on on paid plans. See the pricing page.

Yes. The LinkedIn-to-email and LinkedIn-to-mobile endpoints and reverse_email_lookup take batches of up to 100 inputs per call, and each item comes back with its own status. For larger lists, page through in batches.

Every email is graded A to F for send safety and carries the date of the latest evidence that it works. A means validated deliverable and D means known bad, so you can suppress D at the list level and treat C and F with care. See email risk scores.

Yes, for US records, on every plan. On the $397 and $997 plans, personal email lookups are capped at 75,000 results per week. Call get_account and read personal_email_available to check your access.

Yes. MoltSets is available in Clay with your own MoltSets API key, alongside the REST API, the MCP server and the browser extensions. See all the integrations.

Yes. The Free plan includes 1,000 API calls so you can benchmark the data against your own list before committing. Because misses cost nothing, a test run only spends on records that come back.

MoltSets processes business contact data under legitimate interest and honours opt-out requests across the whole database. See the compliance page for our certifications, sub-processors and DPA.
